I left school at 16 nearly 50 years ago and joined Hallinans as a trainee legal executive, thrown in the deep end by John Blackburn Gittings from day one, training under him and later under “the Master” Colin Nott. Somehow, my role evolved to be mainly concerned with large and complex cases by the mid 80’s. Many others can’t do or don’t like this work, but I can and do! I’m also known for my good sense and no-nonsense approach, which most clients appreciate.
