Megan joined Hallinans in 2024. She graduated from Royal Holloway with an MA in Medieval Studies in 2021 before undertaking the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Bar Vocational Studies at City, University of London. Since graduating, Megan has gained practical experience as a Paralegal at a long-established criminal defence and professional disciplinary law firm, assisting in a range of criminal defence and regulatory matters and honing her interest in practicing criminal law.
Over the next few years, Megan intends to take the Solicitor Qualifying Exams to qualify as a criminal defence Solicitor. The decision to qualify as a Solicitor rather than a Barrister was one inspired by her time as a Paralegal and witnessing the work we as Solicitors do, and wanting to provide comprehensive legal advice wherever possible.
Outside of work, Megan is a keen reader of a range of fictional literature and continues to develop her skills at chess, a hobby she developed during her time at Royal Holloway.
