Namita completed her training in Hertfordshire in 2005 when she was admitted as a Solicitor. She developed her practice across the whole spectrum of criminal offences. Namita then joined a well known and established firm in London and headed up the City office developing a speciality in representing those facing allegations of murder, high value/quantity drugs offences and serious fraud.

Namita joined Hallinans in 2013 and quickly settled in our team with her drive and determination to fight for her clients being evident from the outset. In 2016, Namita took up equity partnership with Colin Nott and then became Managing Director in 2022. Leading from the front and embodying our company values, Namita is building upon the reputation of our firm established over many decades.

Namita was nominated as the ‘In the Spotlight’ member of the Female Fraud Forum and nominated for Criminal Lawyer of the Year 2016 by the Society of Asian Lawyers.
Since 2009, Namita has been the legal consultant to multiple TV programmes on the BBC, ITV, Sky, Netflix and Amazon, including: Law and Order: UK, Broadchurch, Unforgotten, Cold Feet, Undercover, Call the Midwife and Apple Tree Yard as well as other programmes that are in pre-production.
