We provide representation to clients through private funding and legal aid.

Private Funding
Private work is funded ether personally or through an insurer and can be agreed by way of an hourly rate or by fixed fee. Fees are exclusive of VAT and disbursements and will be agreed on a case by case basis and dependent upon the level of the fee earner dealing with your matter. We will always discuss all of your options with you and be upfront and transparent about our fees.
Legal Aid
We hold a contract with the Legal Aid Agency for the provision of publicly funded representation. Legal aid is increasingly difficult to secure because the means testing process is complex and can be onerous. However, at the outset we will advise you about your prospects of funding being granted and if you are likely to be required to pay a contribution which is dependent on your levels of disposable income.
Motoring
The SRA Transparency Rules 2018 require authorised firms to publish costs information about the provision of certain services. This applies to the provision of advice and representation at the Magistrates Court in relation to summary only road traffic offences dealt with at a single hearing.For a single hearing at a Magistrates’ Court in London at which you plead guilty and are sentenced on the same day, we charge a fixed fee of £1,500 + VAT. The fee includes the following:

> Considering the evidence, attending upon you to take your instructions and provide advice on plea.
> Advising you on the process and procedure and likely sentence.
> Representation at a single hearing at the Magistrates’ Court.
If any work is required over and above this, our hourly rate will apply, which is between £250 to £450 plus VAT per hour depending on the level of the fee earner.
